Eclectic Eccentricity
So I got this delightfully sparkly dress from Romwe AGES ago. I had had my eye on it forever and finally took the plunge, and sadly I wasn't too happy with the quality. It's VERY short on me (hence the underskirt), but then again I am tall. And it's INCREDIBLY, INREDIBLY itchy and painful. The sequins all feel like tiny daggers.
But it's so cute that I have to find a way to make it work >.< Anyone have any suggestions?
I actually think it looks better with the underskirt. :) Good choice!
ReplyDeleteAs far as fixing the painful stabbies, is the dress not lined? Have you tried wearing a full slip? Is the problem primarily around the arms? Or is it the whole bodice area?
I would wear a slip or a black lace top if it gets too itchy.

Maybe you could try wearing a strapless bodysuit underneath the dress.

I looked forward to getting this.Feel amazing with leather jackets of cwmalls.com. The color is so much more rich in person than the photos even begin to show.
ReplyDeleteI LOVE the cat-ear headband, so adorable, I want one! As to the itchy dress... everyone else has given good suggestions already, I have a few things I have to wear with a long-sleeve top underneath becuase they're made with wool or otherwise itchy. It's a pain, but I can understand putting up with it for something really beautiful!
ReplyDeleteThe headband sets it all off, but the whole outfit is stunning all on its own. great legs, btw!
ReplyDeleteWoah I love this dress!!! And your ears, and your necklace! Eee! Would a full slip underneath help?
